Greetings Beautiful Family and Friends!
How are you? I trust that you have had a great week! I want to begin by thanking each of you immensely for your support! I’m so glad that you like Leslie’s Lane and continue to share it with your family, friends and associates!
Thank you so very much and have a great weekend!
“I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” – Psalm 34:1
Since there is so much that I would like to say and don’t know where to begin, I’ll just jump right in the middle! A month or so ago, a representative of a company emailed to let me know they would like to give out grants to nonprofit organizations in Atlanta. She requested my assistance in identifying a few! Now, you know I like that! I did so and one of the organizations received a $500 grant! So…….. if you would like to give away anything for FREE, by all means, please let me know! It would be my pleasure to identify people and organizations within 24 hours!
Thanks for the overwhelming response to the request for small business people to appear at the CNBC Town Hall Meeting in Atlanta within the next few weeks! I wrote a feature for the May issue of Black Enterprise entitled “Improve Your Relationship with Your Money”. I interviewed four awesome Atlanta women for this piece. A CNBC tv producer liked it so much, she contacted my editors and asked to speak with these ladies. I made contact with them on her behalf and also offered to share this info with my wonderful database of friends! So many of you responded and I thank you for that! On a related note, a special thanks to my wonderful pastor, Dr. Kerwin. B. Lee. As I understand, he gave me a shoutout during the 9:30 service a few weeks back and encouraged everyone to go out to buy the May issue! I think Atlanta sold out of newspapers as a result! Thanks Pastor Lee! You are indeed a blessing!

Many of the programs offered have income limitations, but you might be pleasantly surprised to find that some benefits are available to seniors who donʼt qualify for federal poverty programs. These free programs range from housekeeping services and eye exams to transportation to daily activities and employment training. Thereʼs even a special property-tax refund for which one may qualify.
To determine your eligibility for benefits, you will need to provide certain information such as your income from various sources (pensions, Social Security, etc.,) and your expenditures for mortgage or rent and other expenses. You might be surprised as to what you will find and, best of all, the website is free!
